"ASAPAULINIAN" Show What You Got!

"Now, ON with the SHOW!"

After all the preparations and practices that we had, now it’s the time for our TALENT SHOW! This is going to be an excitement [and maybe a bit nervous] activity. We will all be showing our talents or our hidden talents. There would be singing, dancing (or both), and playing instruments. The program which entitled “ASAPAULINIAN” was held in Viewing Room. After the prayer, we immediately got into the show and the hosts introduce us the pairs of TWEETUMS who will be singing love songs. They sang really well and I felt that we were doing a karaoke thing. The next one to perform was the Kanto Boys vs. the It Girls. We were having fun because their moves really fit into the chosen music. The Bakasyonistas were really good! They played like they were performing in some real talent show on television. Also, the one who was singing has a powerful voice and I felt that she sung through her heart! Those who were playing guitars, I really admired them (especially the girls) because I for one wanted to learn to play that instrument. Then, the ASAP Champions sang their chosen (I think) piece. Some of our classmates were whistling because one of the pairing in Tweetums was also there. Also, the one who sung was there, she sings Adelle’s song. I thought to myself that “Oh, I didn’t know that Adelle was here.” Our Chinese student sung a song which I think was a love song too. After all the singing, the next one was dancing and I felt a tinge of nervousness. The first one to dance was the HRM students. I was really surprised because I didn’t know that they actually dance like that because they were really awesome especially the moves although some of them was not in synch. The next one, here it comes, our group, the K-POP group J (I know I'm not a K-Pop but I'm doing this time only). At first, we were totally nervous but then at the middle of our dance, we could not hear the music because they were shouting and all. I too was not able to do my moves because I didn’t know if I was in the right rhythm. Before that we were all thinking that maybe they would not watch anymore because we were the second to the last to perform since they would lose their all energy to watch us. But I was really glad that they enjoyed our dancing. The last but not the least was my other friends’ group. They did really well because in the beginning, you would feel the energy they have. I' really happy to hear that they were giving me compliments because they NEVER thought that I would be performing like that. Also, my co-members said that I did great because at the middle of our practice they told me that I should do this and that. But I'm more thankful for my friends because they taught us that choreography and without it, we couldn't do all those moves. I also like to thank God for giving me some courage to make what I've done in our talent show and for the talent I have! I think my confidence has gone to a next level. I  thank this subject, Personality Development, because it really helped a lot in making ME, in learning things you couldn't get from others, and of course to our awesome professor MRS. PAMELA GO, thank you! Arigatou and Sayonara <3 I had FUN in this great subject!
